Two astronomers, investigating the remnants of a supernova, discover a massive cloud of hydrogen approaching the Solar System. Excited to have the opportunity to study the phenomenon they plot its trajectory and realise it is on a collision course with Earth. As the hydrogen cloud enters the Solar System its path alters slightly and as it approaches the inner planets it is drawn into Jupiter’s gravitational field. When the hydrogen then begins to merge with the planet’s atmosphere, Jupiter transforms into a sun.
